Delete your LoveBirds account

In the app

1. Open LoveBirds and sign in.
2. Go to Profile, then Settings.
3. Under Account, tap Delete Account.
4. Choose a reason if you like, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email support@golovebirds.com from the email address on your account, or tell us the phone number you signed up with. We will confirm it is your account and delete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, birthday, photos, bio, prompts, interests and faith details.
• Your matches, likes, messages, photos and voice notes you sent.
• Your selfie check photos, Relationship Quiz results, preferences and settings.
• Your phone number and email sign-in, sign-in sessions and notification tokens.

Your profile disappears from LoveBirds immediately. Copies in backups and file storage are removed within 90 days.

What we keep

• Payment records (what was bought, when and the amount), for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• The reason you gave for leaving, with the phone number or email of the deleted account, so we can stop someone who was banned for safety reasons from coming back.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it in Google Play (Payments and subscriptions) or in your Apple ID subscription settings so you are not charged again.
